Spring IS coming!
Sunsets now occur after 6:30 and how nice it is to work in that glow.
The late afternoon sun makes a warm shadow on the wall and Lulu can chase the solar spots around the room as that low sun hits the crystals hanging in the window.
The forsythia glows yellow—well, really in the old silver pot on the dining room table.
My tax preparer sweats over the program while Lulu suffers below her.

The pileated and the red-bellied woodpecker actually share the suet; down in the field on the high pole a pair of red-tailed hawks rest closely together.
Yes, spring is coming. When I whistle for Lulu in the early morning, the cardinal answers and sings his spring song. What a treat! I don’t think the “skylark has seen a valley touched with green”,
but hope is in the air. I am ready.

What lovely pictures! I trust you are ready to become a snowbird yourself and fly South. We have had virtually no snow this winter which has confused both the flora and fauna. Have a good trip, love, Connie
Love the copper pot and shadow! Kelly recently gave me the low-down on birds at your feeders for another book idea (I love friendly sources!). What is a good time to bring in Forsythia branches? I only have a wee excuse of a shrub, but it could use a pruning!
What a lovely promise of spring – even the taxes. Love the pictures.
